I highly recommend David Park as a realtor. He has a very personable demeanor, listening to us (my wife and me) while maintaining the advisory role. This is an art of managing the client's expectations that could be unrealistic in the insane seller's market like Seattle metro area. He appropriately informed us the necessity of waiving the contingencies. He understands the market really well and provided the right target properties based on our input and somewhat limited understanding of certain areas. He quickly sent us a video file of a property for us make a buying decision without having to visit the property physically. In one case, he provided an explanation why a property was below market price (i.e. high voltage electric lines above the house). Then it comes down to the negotiation skill. Our offer was close but not the highest. Utilizing his resources, he was able to convince the seller and accept our offer. This skill comes with experience, relationships with other realtors in the marketplace, and persistency.
